I’m not sure whether it was so much a matter of the Nazi government directly ordering DELAG’s dissolution as it was of that simply being a logical part of the process of shifting flight operations over to the government-controlled DZR. Perhaps that’s more a splitting of semantic hairs, though.

But yes, once the DZR took over flight operations in 1935 DELAG ceased to operate as a corporate entity.

Did Nazis just order its dissolution?

ML Hope is right: All commercial operations of the Zeppelins from 1909 until 1935 was with the Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft DELAG. The Luftschiffbau Zeppelin (the Zeppelin Airship Construction Company, or LZ) built the Zeppelins but did not operate them.

A somewhat late answer.
The company you ask for was the Cargolifter AG. It got bankrupt after building a very small experimental airship and a very large construction shelter in the state Brandenburg (Germany) near Berlin. The shelter is now a tropical bathing paradise. A sucessor is constructing load lifting ballons up to 70 tons so far. If you like to know more search for Cargolifter.

THEY NEVER GOT STARTED AND DISAPPEARED AFTER TWO OR THREE YEARS. IT IS A VIABLE ECO FRIENDLY OPTION TO MOVE HEAVY FREIGHT!!!

Of course, I could be a bit wrong, as I’m not certain in what capacity the DELAG survived the Great War…
